It’s disheartening to think that despite all the technological advancements and social media, it has become harder to find true and trustworthy friends. I believe this is largely due to our increasingly private lives and the convenience of staying at home and ordering food, shopping, and connecting with others online. It’s a post-Covid effect that has only amplified our ability to live in isolation, and in turn, robbed us of human interaction and meaningful friendships. It’s not just about conversation, it’s about confiding in someone and having people who will support and speak truth to us.
